• Job Description:
  1. Layout design of printed circuit boards, including schematic entry, footprint library and PCB layout placement and routing.
  2. Familiar with Cadence's Allegro layout design tool.
  3. The jobs are extracting net-list, creating part library, doing placement, routing, verification and support.
  4. You need also to create final design deliverables: Fabrication, assembly drawings and DXF files.
  5. Serving as a technical Liaison between the PCB fab, customer design engineers, other design and manufacturing teams for smooth execution of the project cycle.
  6. Work with PCB Fabrication companies and the internal Assembly department on daily basis and resolve ongoing quality issues, answer questions and specify manufacturing criteria.
  7. Improvise design and manufacturing processes to improve manufacturing yields.
  8. Ensure Compliance with internal quality system
  9. Develop an internal best practices procedure for design team derived from IPC, UL and own experience in order to constantly improve design quality.
  10. Design and implement test setups for evaluating, characterizing and debugging PCB's.
• Qualifications & Requirements:
  1. BSEE with 5 years plus experience in PCB layout especially high speed design. Proficiency in Cadence Allegro design tool.
  2. Require good understanding of datasheet specifications of ADCs & DACs as well as timing characteristics
  3. Solid and broad understanding of circuit design and system design is required.
  4. PCB Failure analysis support, debugging tools knowledge and providing input on new product ideas
  5. Good communication and documentation skills. Due to some of the fabrication are done oversea, Bilingual (English and Chinese languages) candidate is a plus.
